Mercy Assisted Living
9 03 Mineral Point Avenue, Janesville, WI
When a person can no longer safely remain at home, Mercy Assisted Living provides an excellent alternative. Individuals receive compassionate care from our experienced, professional staff in a person-centered, warm, supportive, home-like setting. Our mission is to encourage independence while preserving dignity and respecting individuality.
Mercy Assisted Living's residences, known as Community-Based Residencial Facilities, or CBRF's, offer a variety of individualized care services designed to help preserve the independence and quality of life of older and disabled individuals. Every six months, or more often if needed, care conferences are held with the resident, and his or her family and staff, to review the resident's care plan. The CBRF also offers:
- Private room with private bath
- Emergency call system in each room and bath
- Initial and ongoing assessments of the individual’s plan of care
- Nutritious meals and snacks
- Assistance with medications
- Assistance with personal care
- Health maintenance and monitoring
- Exercise and recreational activities
- Escorts to meals and activities
- Laundry service and housekeeping
- Cable TV
- 24-hour protective supervision
- Coordination of home care services, if needed
- Transportation to medical appointments, if needed
In these ways, Mercy Assisted Living services can often delay or prevent the need for costly nursing home services.
Our comfortable living areas
Mercy Assisted Living offers two attractively decorated, home-like residences, Freedom Hall and Liberty Hall. Both halls have private rooms with private baths and are designed to be easily accessible for all residents. Each room includes a roomy closet, shelving with drawers, individually controlled heating and cooling, and working windows. Residents furnish their rooms with comfortable, familiar furniture and favorite mementoes to create their own personal space. Phone access to friends and family is provided in each hall’s lounge and residents also have the option to have a direct line in their private rooms.
