Senior Connection recognizes that as you grow older your personal priorities and your health care needs change. Senior Connection provides programs and services to meet those changing needs.

Regardless of where you receive your health care services, Senior Connection advisors are here to assist you – free of charge.

Any person age 55 or older can be a member of Senior Connection. Simply submit the application or call Mercy Healthline and you will receive a membership card that ensures you will receive all benefits of the program; make it a point to carry it with you.

Senior Connection benefits

  • FREE Medicare and health care claims assistance
    Senior Connection advisors provide counseling, guidance and information about insurance/ Medicare issues. Specific issues include Medicare eligibility, deductibles and filing of claims.
  • FREE prescription drug discount service
    The ARGUS prescription drug discount service ensures that you receive the lowest price available for prescription medication at a participating pharmacy.
  • FREE newsletter
    Receive our newsletter packed with health tips, Medicare updates, Mercy Health System news, advice and a calendar of events.
  • FREE educational events
    Senior Connection members are invited to attend the monthly Healthy Bites health information series at Basics Cooperative and Medicare Hour at the Mercy Health Mall.
  • FREE Living Will and Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care
    Forms are available on request.

  • Mercy Health System discounts
    As a member of Senior Connection, you are entitled to special discounts throughout Mercy Health System. You need only present your Senior Connection card to enjoy these benefits.
  • Social events
    You will be the first to hear about the great day outings we have planned, like lunch and theater trips to Chicago, Milwaukee and Janesville, and our annual Brewers vs. Cubs outing at Miller Park. Most trips are wheelchair accessible.
